E' tuttavia importante che la posa venga effettuata da professionisti validi che garantiscano un risultato che perduri nel tempo. L'intervento richiede 5 giorni di lavorazione e la pavimentazione e' calpestabile dopo 48 ore circa. Dopo una prima applicazione avente funzione ancorante, viene adattato il manto resinoso, a rullo o a spatola a seconda del tipo di rifinitura desiderata, e infine si procede alla levigatura. Le finiture possibili sono una laccatura che ne protegge la superficie rendendola impermeabile o una verniciatura che metta in risalto il materiale resinoso. Non meno trascurabile e' il vantaggio della manutenzione, che richiede solo acqua e detersivo. Inoltre la pavimentazione in resina e' a norma di legge per quanto riguarda sicurezza, mantenimento e igiene. I costi variano in funzione dell'ampiezza delle superfici da trattare e del tipo di preparazione del sottofondo.
